The famed bullfighter is the face of the new 2015 Spring Summer Campaign for Dolce & Gabbana.

José María Manzanares is grateful for “Dolce and Stefanno’s confidence in him” with “one of the season’s most prominent and awaited campaigns.”

Before Domenico Dolce’s lenses, and under Stefanno Gababana’s art direction, the alicantinian bullfighter displays the new campaign alongside models Bianca Balti, Vittoria Ceretti, Blanca Padilla and Irina Sharipova. Full of sensuality, irony but likewise respect and admiration for generations past, the Italian company acknowledges Spain’s influence in Sicily during the sixteenth, seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. The designers have combined traditional elements of both cultures to give it that touch of elegance and Mediterranean sensuality that characterizes the regions.

This latest international collaboration in the world of fashion is yet another step in José María Manzanares’ goal of showing to the world the art of bullfighting. In this new line, his achievements are highlighted via the work of renowned photographers such as Mario Testino, Bruce Weber, Mert and Marcus, Jean-Baptiste Mondino, Sean Tomas and companies Givenchy and IWC.
